Postdoctoral Fellowships or Instructor Positions in Bioinformatics for Cancer and Cardiovascular Immunology

Postdoctoral Fellowship and Instructor positions are available at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in the research group of Dr. Catherine Hedrick to perform bioinformatics research in immunology in the fields of cancer and atherosclerosis. Projects will include high dimensional analysis of CITE-seq, scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and mass cytometry data. Candidate will have his/her own independent research project, but will also assist in bioinformatics analyses of team project science.

The successful candidate should have a PhD or MD. Knowledge of R is required. Previous bioinformatics experience or training required. Knowledge of immunology, atherosclerosis, or cancer biology is a plus. Laboratory bench ‘wetlab’ experience is also a plus.
