Talia Delamare

Talia Delamare oversees special projects at the executive level including overall planning, management, and execution. Her scope of responsibilities is broad and encompasses various business development, research administration, and financial matters. In collaboration with the translational research department, Talia is responsible for helping build a translational research and business development database to monitor the development of a project as it heads towards pre-clinical research and potential commercial opportunities. She also helps administrate the database for the Institute’s COVID-19 bio-repository.

Talia received her BA in Biological Anthropology with a concentration in Global Health at the University of California, San Diego. She later completed a master’s degree in Epidemiology at the University of Cambridge in the UK, where her research focused on identifying mitochondrial DNA biomarkers in cardiovascular disease. She has worked in both non-profit and contract research organizations which have helped widen her breadth of knowledge in pre-clinical and clinical settings. Talia is also certified in GCP/ICH through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
