Christopher Lee is responsible for all private giving to LJI and oversees the fundraising and advancement operations for the organization. Chris works closely with organizational leadership such as President and CSO Mitchell Kronenberg, Executive Vice President and COO Stephen Wilson, LJI’s faculty, LJI’s Board of Directors and other relevant volunteer groups to seek and secure philanthropic support for LJI’s work.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in development and management, including major gift fundraising and building and leading philanthropy departments and programs. Prior to LJI, Chris held fundraising leadership positions in a number of distinguished San Diego-based research organizations as well as several other national organizations.
Chris, who has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), joined LJI in 2016.
