Eileen Timken joined the Institute in April 2017 as the Advancement Coordinator, transitioned to the Advancement Associate in September 2018, and progressed again to an Advancement Officer in January 2021. Her role is to develop and support donor relationships, annual programs, and Advancement Department operations. She is a Certified Salesforce Administrator.
Eileen earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Delaware Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration through an accelerated degree program, which she began as an undergraduate while pursuing a B.A. in Public Policy.
Prior to joining LJI, Eileen worked for a range of non-profit and government organizations in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. These include the City of Lake Forest, of Chicago’s North Shore, and the nationally renowned Center for Community Research and Service of the University of Delaware.
As a student, Eileen also interned for Congress, the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
