Mr. Waxman is a partner and business lawyer at Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the BNA Health Law Reporter Advisory Board, BNA Medical Research Law & Policy Reporter Advisory Board, IRB Advisor Editorial Board, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), Chancellor’s Health Advisory Board.
His previous positions include Chair of the Health Care Industry Team at Foley & Lardner LLP; member of the Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations and Antitrust Practices at Foley & Lardner LLP; chair at Weissburg & Aronson, Inc. Litigation Practice; and Board member for Weissburg & Aronson, Inc., MedVentive, CRICO Captive Insurance, Thalians Community Mental Health Clinic, Alternative Living for the Aging, and Bet Tzedek Legal Services.
Mr. Waxman was a founding member of the UCSD Rady School of Business Mentoring Initiative, a program that fuels the University of California’s innovation leadership and entrepreneurship initiatives. He graduated summa cum laude from UC San Diego and earned his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
